The hard gate
An article that states a price or an opening time your evidence does not contain, or whose answer block does not resolve to a real evidence id, is held on the spot, whatever its SEO or AEO score. Grounding is never traded for a higher score.
One retry, then a human

Does Citevine guarantee my content is 100% factually accurate?
No, and we will not claim it. The gate blocks two specific failures: a price or opening time the draft states that your evidence does not contain, and an answer block whose source id does not resolve to a real claim in the pack. Ordinary prose beyond that is not machine-checked, which is why every draft is held for you to read before it can publish, and why the quality of your evidence still matters.
Will this get my content cited by ChatGPT or shown in AI Overviews?
It is built for that outcome and scored for it, but no tool can promise it. Answer engines decide what they cite. Citevine writes high-quality, branded content for your website designed to grow your organic and AI-answer visibility over time, and structures each article for answer-engine and citation signals, and can publish an llms.txt file for discovery. That file is a best-effort signal that LLMs are free to ignore, not a guarantee of ingestion.
Do I still need a human to review articles?
Manual review is the default: every grounded article waits for you to approve, reject, or request a rewrite before it schedules. You can turn on auto-approval per site, which re-checks grounding and scores before scheduling. Grounding is never skipped in either mode.
Where does Citevine publish, and will it create duplicates?
It publishes to WordPress, Ghost, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, hosted Citevine sites, and custom webhooks. Each publish is idempotent by external ID or slug, so a retry never creates a duplicate, and the live URL is reconciled back into the article after go-live.
How do you stop AI costs from running away?
Every AI feature has a daily cap by type, and your organization has a monthly cost ceiling that acts as a hard stop. A failed draft regenerates at most once, then holds for review instead of looping. There are no unbounded generate loops.
Is my data separated from other customers?
Yes. Every article, brief, decision, and performance record is owned by exactly one tenant and filtered by tenant at the data layer. A user signed into one account cannot read or write another account’s data.
